Grass Fire 6900 E. 31st St S.
Station 36 was on scene of a controlled burn that got out of control when the winds shifted out of the west and the fire got out of control. SQ 36, 34, 11, 15, and BR 38 were fire attack, E36 was cleanup from the road, E38 was the fill unit, 92 was command, 94 was traffic control, and McConnell T11 was water supply.

A man started a brush fire that got out of control . Fire crews were able to get a good grip on the fire. The fire consumed about 20 acres.

Building Fire 15100 E. 69th N.

Dispatched as a shed fire, was quickly upgraded to a building fire. There was heavy smoke and orange glow showing from Woodlawn and K254 Highway.. E37,T37 on scene gave fully involved large building/barn. E37,SQ18 were fire attack. BAT32 took command, T32 shuttled water with T37. E38 investigated possible exposures and assisted with fire attack. E6/Q18/Andover Fire were disregarded. Benton Tender 75 also helped shuttle water. BAT34 took safety from Andover Fire's Deputy Chief. E329 and SQ328 assisted with overhaul.

Barn Fire 167th St W and K-96
E33 arrived on the scene of a 40x60 barn fire fully involved. E33 was fire attack upon arrival. E33 quickly advised that they had exposures to worry about. SQ13 was assigned to protect the propane tank on the East side of the structure. BAT32 took command upon arrival. E31 set up a porta tank off T33 on the roadway for water supply. Command told fire attack to concentrate on the exposures and work with SQ13 to protect the exposures. Fire attack crews ran out of water on T33 and E33 before E31 could establish the porta tank water supply. T33, T32, and T17 were tender ops, and BAT 34 was safety.

Haz-Mat Incident K-96 and Hydraulic
A tanker truck carrying Butane rolled over spilling a tank down from K96 onto Hydraulic. BAT1 was command, E3/SQ3 on scene first extinguished small grass fires, E10/HM10 were HazMat Group 1, Q32/HM32 were HazMat Group 2, BAT32 and BAT34 responded. 182 also responded. Truck driver was not injured.
